Sanitary Pad Awareness Event

Menstrual health is a basic right, not a privilege. The Sanitary Pad Awareness Event hosted by Sath Chale Foundation is an initiative to promote awareness around menstrual hygiene and empower women and girls with access to safe and affordable sanitary products. We want to empower women and girls to shatter the silence around menstruation, spread information, and make sure that no girl misses school, work, or activity because she doesn’t have access to safe sanitary pads.

By providing awareness drives, educational workshops, and sanitary pad distribution at no cost to the community, we seek to create an atmosphere where menstruation is understood as a natural and healthy process. In breaking the myths and taboos around menstruation, we wish to open the space to talk about menstruation and provide confidence to young girls and women.

Event Mission

The goals of the Sanitary Pad Awareness Event are to raise awareness of menstrual hygiene; to provide essential items for hygiene, while creating a community of education to address menstruation.

Some of our objectives include advocating awareness around menstruation hygiene; providing free sanitary pads for women and girls in need; breaking taboos and advocating for conversations around menstruation; and promoting health, dignity, and confidence among women and girls.

Together, we can create a world where menstruation can be treated simply with respect, dignity, and pride.
